The Joy of Text Tickets
The world’s greatest actors performing the world’s funniest text conversations.
Inspired by an hilarious exchange between her Mum and Brother that she has kept on her phone for years, film and theatre director Josie Rourke puts together a fast, raucous and breathtaking “I can’t believe you typed that” evening in support of the Platform Presents Playwrights Prize.
The evening is produced by Isabella Macpherson of Platform Presents and Amy Gardner of Finite Films. The growing cast includes Aki Omoshaybi, Catherine Tate, Denise Gough, Dougray Scott, Indira Varma, Iwan Rheon, Tamsin Greig, Nicholas Pinnock, Pearl Mackie, Tracey-Ann Oberman, Sally Phillips, Robert Bathurst and Pippa Bennett-Warner, with more coming on board each day in the run up to the night.
